Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Plan and coordinate multiple events at once, including children's birthday parties and other craft classes or events.
  • Customer Service: Deliver friendly customer service by helping customers shop at our store and find what they're looking for.
  • Checkout Experience: Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience.
  • Operational Tasks: Complete operational tasks including truck unload, merchandise duties, and maintaining store recovery standards as needed.
  • Communication: Communicate events with clients and store team members.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails, making phone calls, and completing paperwork as needed.
  • Client Satisfaction: Ensure client satisfaction for scheduled events.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Uphold the company's cleanliness and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Retail and/or customer service experience required.
  • Skills: Excellent people skills, experience working with children and children's events, good communication skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to remain standing for long periods of time, ability to move throughout the store, regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
