Job Summary

Redwood Residential is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our multifamily properties in West Sacramento, CA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical aspects of our properties meet our high standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform technical and mechanical work to diagnose and repair issues with buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas.
  • Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Prepare vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins by completing the pre-move-out inspection, creating a punch list of maintenance work needed, and scheduling vendors and contractors as required.
  • Follow procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and other items from the property's maintenance department.
  • Complete documentation and other paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete fashion to ensure service requests can be appropriately documented and tracked.
  • Assist in maintaining the grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash and debris, pressure-washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
Requirements
  • EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
  • Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
  • High School diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training.
Working Conditions

Associates work both in and outside of apartment buildings and in all areas of the property, including amenities. Associates must be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time and bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas. Associates must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions.
