Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at the St. Louis County Department of Public Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nutritional services, including nutritional counseling and developing and presenting nutrition education programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nutritional assessment and medical nutrition therapy to patients at our health centers.
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans.
  • Participate in clinical programs as part of a patient-centered team approach to healthcare.
  • Certify patients for the WIC program, including nutrition assessment, counseling, and referral to resources.
  • Develop and implement nutrition presentations and programs for patients and the community.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health Nutrition, Human Nutrition Dietetics, or a related field.
  • Registration as a Registered Dietitian with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Licensure as a licensed dietitian with the State of Missouri.
  • A current valid driver's license.
