Job Title: Assistant Program Director

Family Service League Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Program Director to join our team. As a key member of our Mental Health Clinic, you will play a vital role in providing administrative and clinical oversight of the day-to-day operations of the clinic and its staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Program Director in providing administrative and clinical oversight of the clinic and its staff.
  • Lead weekly team meetings and individual or group supervision to clinic staff and interns as needed.
  • Provide direct supervision to clinic supervisors.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure appropriate provision of medical services and storage of medications.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations for clinic staff.
  • Work with the Program Director and other agency departments regarding the recruitment, hiring, and disciplinary action of employees.
  • Ensure compliance with all NY-OMH and CCBHC regulations and standards of care.
  • Assist in reviewing all referrals and coordination with priority referral sources.
  • Attend other scheduled meetings and trainings as requested.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work or related field required.
  • LMSW or LCSW preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of prior supervisory experience working in a mental health clinic setting required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills required.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records (EMR), required.
