Job Summary:

As a highly skilled and experienced Asian Chef Manager, you will be responsible for leading the culinary team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Your expertise in Asian cuisine and ability to train and motivate team members will be essential in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new menus and recipes, utilizing your knowledge of culinary techniques and trends.
  • Lead the culinary team in preparing Asian cuisine dishes, with a focus on Buffet, Banquets, and employee dining room.
  • Enforce recipes and training procedures to maintain the highest standards of food quality.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to increase sales, control costs, and manage inventories.
  • Ensure a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment throughout the F&B areas.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to run the operation in a consistent manner, regardless of scheduling or staff availability.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the product to increase market share.
  • Coordinate with the Procurement Manager to purchase approved food and beverage products.
  • Inspect and taste prepared foods daily to ensure excellent quality and presentation.
  • Communicate effectively with all Bally's employees and guests.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Minimum four (4) years high volume cooking experience.
  • Ability to use all kitchen tools and equipment, with good knife skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food products.
  • Must have Serve Safe certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with people in a sensitive and professional manner.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all Bally's employees and guests.

Work Environment:
Diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven, multi-project coordination, prioritizing, and flexing to accommodate last-minute requests and changes.
