Job Summary:
The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District is seeking a dedicated and passionate Health Educator I to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive sexual health education programming for youth and promoting healthy relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Implement evidence-based sexual health education curricula to local schools and community groups.
- Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive programs covering topics such as sexual anatomy, contraception, and healthy relationships.
- Collaborate with local schools, organizations, and healthcare providers to promote sexual health education and foster a safe and inclusive community.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as community health, education, or social work.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to facilitate programming and work effectively with diverse groups.
