Licensed Practical Nurse Supervisor

Employment Type: Part-time (Evenings)
Overview:
St. Ann's Community is in search of skilled LPN Supervisors for our facility located on the Webster Campus. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee resident care, medication management, and the overall assistance provided by designated Resident Care Aides.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct Management and Clinical Assessments, including evaluating residents and facilitating care for any changes in their conditions.
2. Perform regular rounds on each unit to assess all residents based on condition reports.
3. Communicate any concerns to the Lead Supervisor as necessary.
4. Complete incident reports and ensure follow-up for any incidents that occur during the shift.
5. Assist in evaluating the performance of nursing staff.
6. Collaborate with the RN Nursing Supervisor to address employee injuries that occur while on duty.
7. Participate in meetings, in-house training sessions, and professional development activities.
8. May conduct interviews for nursing supervisor candidates and provide hiring recommendations.
9. Work alongside RN Nursing Supervisors during emergency situations to implement the Emergency Management Plan.
10. Carry out additional duties as assigned by the RN Nursing Supervisor, ADON, or CNO.
Qualifications:
- Valid NYS LPN license
- Minimum of five years of experience in long-term care is required
- Availability to work every other weekend is essential
Benefits:
- Competitive Salary: $32.15/hr
- Part-time schedule: 20 hours/week
