Job Summary:

The EMT Educator - Training Specialist at RWJ New Brunswick is responsible for coordinating and conducting Emergency Medical Technician initial, renewal, and continuing education classes that meet specific guidelines. The EMT Educator will provide oversight to ensure that the program content and instructional program comply with the standards and guidelines set forth in the program curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs for EMT students
  • Coordinate with instructors to ensure high-quality training
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness
  • Collaborate with the EMT Program Manager to ensure program compliance
  • Provide support for EMT programs, nursing competencies, and other events

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • NJ EMT Instructor Certification
  • AHA BLS Provider CPR Instructor
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Working Conditions:

This is a per diem position, and the EMT Educator will be required to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends.
