Overview

The Pharmacy Operations Assistant will play a vital role in supporting pharmacy management by ensuring accurate pharmacy records and adherence to regulatory standards set by the Drug Enforcement Agency, Board of Pharmacy, and other governing bodies.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 9:00-5:30pm

Pay Rate:
$18-20/HR

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with pharmacy personnel to ensure accurate and current prescription records
  • Maintain logs for controlled substances within pharmacy management systems
  • Oversee the retrieval of all narcotic kits and emergency supply prescriptions
  • Prepare and verify the accuracy of audit reports and prescription manifest logs
  • Maintain the physician database and monitor updates to all physician profiles
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned
  • Conduct job responsibilities in accordance with the standards outlined in the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and relevant professional standards

Qualifications
  • High school diploma
  • Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred
  • Basic understanding of pharmaceuticals, medication terminology, and the metric system; ability to operate a computer
  • Licenses and certifications as required by state regulations and business needs
