Responsibilities
  • Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, coordinate the activities of the pharmacy department to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to all patients served by the hospital.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient safety and outcomes, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide medication therapy management, including medication reconciliation, dosing, and monitoring.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and reduce medication errors.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and apply evidence-based knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
  • Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
  • B.S. degree in Pharmacy required; Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certification preferred.
