Join Our Team as an Associate Director of Substance Use Disorder Services

Family Health Centers of San Diego (FHCSD) is a leading community health system dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare to underserved communities. We are seeking an experienced Associate Director of Substance Use Disorder Services to lead our SUD service delivery programs and drive strategic planning for our healthcare operations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in program management, healthcare operations, and leadership. They will be responsible for building and maintaining community linkages, coaching and counseling staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The Associate Director will also lead continuous improvement activities, develop budgets, and provide positive representation of the agency.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for SUD service delivery programs
  • Build and maintain community partnerships and linkages
  • Coach and counsel staff to achieve high performance
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and programmatic audits
  • Lead continuous improvement activities and develop budgets
  • Represent the agency positively and maintain facilities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Business, or related field
  • 5 years of program management experience in healthcare or public health
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • 3 years of experience in SUD community
  • SUDC credentialing
  • Bilingual English/Spanish may be required
