Radiology Imaging Specialist

Samba Care is seeking a skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team in Stanford, Kentucky.
About the RoleAs a Radiology Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing examination rooms, administering radiopharmaceuticals, and positioning patients and equipment to obtain clear, usable images.
You will also be responsible for inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences, monitoring patients during examinations, and ensuring their safety.
Additionally, you will produce diagnostic images, report important information to physicians, and update patient records.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images
- Position patients and equipment to ensure optimal image quality
- Insert commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences
- Monitor patients during examinations and ensure their safety
- Produce diagnostic images and report important information to physicians
- Update patient records and maintain accurate documentation
