Job Title: MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Yoh. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures to obtain high-quality images for medical diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain quality images for medical diagnosis by performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures as directed by a physician.
  • Prepare patients for MRI exams by explaining the procedure, ensuring patient screening forms are completed, and safely transferring patients to MRI equipment.
  • Acquire and process images in accordance with department standards, evaluating MRI scans for technical quality and collating processed images.
  • Perform and remain current on all scanning protocols, troubleshooting equipment problems and reporting to the proper personnel for repair.
  • Utilize ancillary equipment, such as PACS systems, laser cameras, and MedRad power injectors, to assist in MRI procedures.
  • Assist in the training of radiology students, house staff, or others in MRI procedures, protocols, and equipment safety.
  • Bill all procedures performed and maintain necessary paperwork.
Requirements:
  • Satisfactory completion of a JCERT-approved radiologic technology program.
  • CRT-certified technologist by the state of California Department of Health Services in Radiology or ARRT-certified technologist.
  • Two years of directly related work experience.
  • 3-5 years of MRI experience with knowledge of GE 29.0 software.
  • Knowledge of magnetic resonance imaging techniques, methods, and equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, document, and communicate equipment problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and visitors.
