The Instrumentation Program Engineer plays a critical role in managing instrumentation requirements for military and commercial engines in Development Assembly & Component Test. This position reports to the Senior Operation Management Staff Manager and is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of instrumentation systems.
Key Responsibilities- Manage instrumentation requirements and costs on engines and other related projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Instrumentation, Design, Systems, Assembly, and Test, to ensure seamless execution of development engines.
- Interface with software tools such as IDS, IWS, eTPS, Open Plan, Digital Thread, Intelligence, Digital Workbench, and VIS mock-up.
- Develop and maintain instrumentation plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in production process and equipment.
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain clearance.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
- Effective problem identification and solution skills.
- Proven analytical and organizational ability.
