About the Role

This is a direct hire opportunity with a family-owned business that has been in operation since 1988. As a Senior Accounting Manager/Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and payroll functions, including QuickBooks Online, payroll tax report filings, and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  • Prepare and file payroll tax reports, including 941, 940, and Texas Suta
  • Administer benefits, including cafeteria plans and worker's compensation
  • Reconcile and balance financial statements on a monthly basis
  • Prepare and present financial reports to management
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting and payroll
  • Expertise in QuickBooks Online and payroll tax report filings
  • Knowledge of benefits administration, including cafeteria plans and worker's compensation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
