Job Summary

Women's Care is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examinations and assist healthcare providers during treatment and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Record and document patient information, including medical history, health maintenance, and chief complaints.
  • Measure and record vital signs, as well as perform phlebotomy and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Provide education and instructions to patients, ensuring they understand their treatment plans and care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred.
  • Current CPR and/or BLS certification preferred; ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
  • Experience working in OBGYN or primary care settings a plus.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and ability to perform phlebotomy and administer injections.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
