Position Overview:

The Biological Technology Consultant will act as a key technical authority for advanced research initiatives, contributing to the strategic development and implementation of government-sponsored scientific projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance in various scientific fields, including Chemistry, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, and Synthetic Biology.
  • Evaluate and assess emerging technologies to facilitate research advancements and improve operational readiness.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical reports and present findings to stakeholders, ensuring clarity for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support the management of ongoing programs and assist in transitioning deliverables to relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct strategic evaluations of new technologies to align with organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in scientific research or technology development.
  • Proven ability to produce technical documentation and contribute to peer-reviewed publications.
  • Doctorate in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex scientific concepts effectively.
  • Eligibility for security clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in postdoctoral research or industrial applications.
  • Familiarity with computational biology and advanced modeling techniques.
  • Proficient in scientific writing and data analysis methodologies.
  • Possession of a TS/SCI clearance is advantageous.
