Key Responsibilities

  • Update curriculum and resources to reflect current industry trends and standards.
  • Manage and maintain program equipment, ensuring it remains current and relevant.
  • Collaborate with program personnel to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Participate in program meetings and contribute to the development of the Nail Technology program.
  • Recruit and market the program to potential students, promoting the college's mission and vision.
  • Participate in industry-based advisory board meetings to ensure the program remains relevant and effective.
  • Assist in student job placement and follow-up, ensuring students are prepared for the workforce.
  • Ensure students adhere to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry advancements.
Requirements
  • Three years of related industry experience.
  • Associate degree in an appropriate discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline.
  • Previous teaching experience.
  • Experience with learner-centered pedagogy.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability. The ability to work a variable schedule, including evenings and weekends, is essential.
