Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Professional to join our team as a Commercial Sales Representative. This role is responsible for prospecting and generating new commercial business, identifying leads, managing prospects, and acquiring new sales.

About the Role:

This position requires a strong understanding of Rumpke's services and pricing structure, as well as the ability to determine customer needs and propose appropriate service solutions. You will be expected to meet or exceed new business sales goals, conduct cold calls and prospecting activities, and prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations to key decision makers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Identify potential customers, manage prospects, and acquire new business through effective sales strategies and techniques.
  • Develop and Maintain Customer Relationships: Build strong relationships with customers, understand their needs, and propose tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Meet or Exceed Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets, demonstrating a commitment to driving revenue growth and business expansion.
  • Conduct Effective Sales Calls: Conduct professional and engaging sales calls, presenting Rumpke's services and value proposition in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Analyze Market Trends: Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments, using this knowledge to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Sales Experience: Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and best practices.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify opportunities, and develop effective solutions.
