Position Overview:

Role: Night Auditor

As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and maintaining the integrity of guest accounts during the overnight shift. This role involves balancing revenue, settling accounts, and performing essential Guest Service Agent responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct nightly audits and perform bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of room availability and guest accounts, utilizing both manual and computerized systems.
  • Prepare and disseminate daily financial reports.
  • Audit and reconcile cashiers' transactions.
  • Timely audit, reconcile, and transmit all credit card transactions.
  • Input and update financial data into the BRAINS network.
  • Check guests in and out while fulfilling Guest Service Agent duties.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve any complaints effectively.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores and strive to enhance overall guest experience.
  • Adhere to sustainability practices as outlined in HHM's EarthView program.
  • Maintain safe work practices and utilize appropriate safety equipment.
  • Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Prior experience in night auditing or accounting, or equivalent training is required.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel, along with strong arithmetic skills.
  • FSD certification is advantageous and must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

Work Environment:

  • Work hours may vary, including weekends and holidays.
  • This position requires standing for extended periods, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, and bending/reaching.
