About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audio-Visual Specialist to join our dynamic team at SPS North America Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless meeting experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate, maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, repair, and manage A/V systems and peripherals.
  • Perform daily morning checks of all conference rooms to proactively identify issues and ensure they are in working order for the day's meetings.
  • Own pre-meeting A/V checks for high-profile events and VIP video meetings.
  • Troubleshoot and upgrade or replace AV componentry.
  • Coordinate external vendor support when required.
  • Meet key support performance metrics, such as trouble ticket SLAs.
  • Manage incident management of application usage.
  • Proactively seek out additional work during downtime.
  • Build professional relationships with customers and other teams.
  • Maintain professionalism and composure when interacting with all employees.
  • Train back-up staff and provide guidance on policies and procedures.
  • Determine additional support needed when handling sensitive inquiries.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
  • 3-5 years prior A/V work experience preferred.
  • Industry certification preferred.
  • Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) preferred.
  • Hours: 8am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current knowledge or ability to learn computer-based systems required for functions of position.
  • Required to maintain an overall professional appearance and attitude.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures required.
  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater frequently.
