Job Title: AutoCAD Specialist

Job Summary:
CTR Group is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Specialist to support a US Navy Program in the Boston, MA area. The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD software and a strong understanding of shipboard mechanical, electrical, or structural design.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed ship checks to assess ship system conditions
  • Develop and modify AutoCAD drawing products
  • Perform technical reviews of ship information packages
  • Review Ship Change Documents (SCDs)
  • Review shipbuilder/planning yard provided Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs)

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-3 years of experience in shipboard mechanical, electrical, or structural design
  • 2-3 years of experience working with AutoCAD software
  • Able to accurately obtain mechanical measurements using calipers, micrometers, height, pin, thread, and radius gauges
  • Able to visualize and portray complex design features
  • Strong communication skills and good PC skills
