About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our Data Center Operating Systems team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and delivering technically challenging projects that impact all AWS systems globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own, design, build, and deliver technically challenging projects
  • Grow more junior engineers and be a force multiplier
  • Identify operational challenges early in the system and drive operational excellence
  • Contribute to and lead the improvements in development processes
  • Insist on highest standards for the long term system extensibility and scalability

Requirements

  • 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 7+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
