About the Role

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Telemetry Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care, utilizing sound nursing practices and procedures to meet the needs of patients of all ages.
  • Conduct accurate and complete admission assessments, prioritizing patient problems and documenting patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Assess and document patient pain levels, utilizing appropriate protocols to ensure effective pain management.
  • Monitor and document patient conditions, evaluating the effectiveness and timeliness of care and interventions.
  • Delegate nursing care tasks to other members of the team, ensuring seamless delivery of patient care.
Requirements
  • Completion of a recognized course of study from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Two years recent experience in the Emergency Department.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Physical Requirements
  • Requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods.
Personal Protective Equipment
  • Follows Standard Precautions, utilizing personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
