Job Summary

The Commercial Loan Officer is a key member of our lending team, responsible for originating and managing commercial loans. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial lending principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with business owners and professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and manage commercial loans, including underwriting, structuring, and closing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business owners, real estate professionals, and other referral sources.
  • Conduct site visits to evaluate collateral and assess creditworthiness.
  • Prepare and present loan applications to the Business Loan Review Committee.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless loan processing and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred.
  • 4-6 years of commercial lending/sales, underwriting experience and loan review.
  • Knowledge of commercial lending, regulatory compliance, and due diligence requirements.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements, credit data, and collateral to determine creditworthiness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions

This role requires a professional office environment with regular interaction with business owners, real estate professionals, and other stakeholders. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
