Clinical Nurse Specialist

Position: Registered Nurse
Location: Orlando, Florida
Contract Duration: 4 months
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, no weekends or major holidays
Pay Rate: $35 - $40 per hour
Requirements: Must successfully complete a drug screening, including nicotine testing.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in Florida
- Experience with IV insertion and infusion
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with hematology/oncology patients in clinical or hospital settings
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Experience in Oncology, Dialysis, or Infusion Therapy is preferred
Daily Responsibilities:
The Registered Nurse will be tasked with administering chemotherapy and other related treatments, including iron and hydration therapy. Responsibilities include preparing medications, obtaining peripheral IV access, and accessing chest ports. Accurate documentation of all medications and patient assessments is essential throughout the shift. Additionally, the RN may be required to triage patient inquiries via phone.
