About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing expert clinical care to our patients, families, and communities. You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as developing and implementing education programs to improve patient outcomes and quality of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support complex patient care issues and identify patients at risk for suboptimal outcomes
  • Develop and implement education programs to improve patient outcomes and quality of care
  • Interpret and establish practice standards, policy, and procedures
  • Monitor practice standards and evaluate impact on patient care
  • Identify and develop plans to improve problematic systems and process issues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's degree in clinical nursing specialty, three to five years of experience in specialty, and current, valid State of Florida or multi-state license as a registered professional nurse. You will also need to have current registration with Florida State Board of Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
