Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at AdventHealth Orlando. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will provide expert clinical care to patients and families, while also contributing to the development of nursing practice and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical expertise in specialty area to optimize patient/family, nurse, and systems outcomes
- Assess and evaluate care delivery models, and implement changes based on outcome data
- Develop education programs to improve patient outcomes and quality of care
- Support complex patient care issues, identifies patients at risk for suboptimal outcomes and proposes a proactive plan of care
- Coordinates and/or supports patient education programs and evaluates impact of patient education programs
Requirements:
- Master's degree in clinical nursing specialty
- Three to five years experience in specialty
- Current, valid State of Florida or multi state license as a registered professional nurse
- Current registration with Florida State Board of Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
