Position Overview:

The Process & Automation Technician will support the Process Engineer in the design, construction, and enhancement of auxiliary machinery to optimize efficiency for both new and existing products.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the construction and automation of machinery.
  • Investigate potential advantages of automation and enhancements to substantiate expenses.
  • Educate staff on the operation and advantages of new machinery.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to assess production equipment requirements and provide recommendations for new equipment selection.
  • Ensure a safe and organized work environment by adhering to established procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Interpret and follow work instructions, setup sheets, and checklists.
  • Familiarity with 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Preferred knowledge of plastic injection molding techniques, processes, and protocols.
  • Demonstrate the ability to independently solve problems and make decisions as necessary.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Capability to sit, stand, and navigate throughout the facility for extended durations.
