Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programs that meet the identified learning needs of our nursing staff.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted educational programs.
  • Utilize adult learning principles to design engaging and effective educational programs.
  • Collaborate with clinical leaders to ensure that educational programs align with our clinical outcomes and patient care delivery model.
  • Provide educational support to staff on new policies, procedures, and equipment.
  • Participate in compliance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with national and local nursing professional organizations related to staff development and continuing education.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Nursing is strongly preferred.
  • Prior teaching experience is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced illness and hospice care experience are strongly preferred.
  • The ability to connect with staff and demonstrate personal maturity, emotional stability, and physical energy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions and deal with problems involving several concrete variables.
