About the Role:- Provides direct care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse, with a focus on routine and standardized care requirements.
- Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with other healthcare professionals, patients, and families.
- Assists unit leadership with overseeing Clinical Technician education records and serves as a preceptor for new Clinical Technicians.
- Has respect for and understanding of other clinical disciplines, with a focus on effective communication and teamwork.
- One year of experience in an acute care setting as a Clinical Technician or successful completion of an acute care clinical rotation in an accredited RN program.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to attend a six-week training orientation upon hire.
- Northern Virginia's only Level 1 Trauma Center.
- Magnet recognition.
- Awarded straight A's in patient safety since 2018.
