Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Custodian to join our team at Encompass Onsite LLC. As a Housekeeper/Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests, patients, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize all facility rooms, including patient rooms, offices, restrooms, lounges, waiting areas, and other areas as assigned.
  • Operate mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, and maintain facility equipment and utility closets in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Dispose of trash, waste, and other materials, and manage cleaning solvents, chemicals, and germicides in accordance with regulations.
  • Report any needed repairs immediately to supervisor, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including routine office and classroom cleaning.
Requirements
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
  • Duties require verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public.
Preferred Requirements
  • Previous housekeeping experience.
  • Prior solid surface (resilient floor) care experience.
  • Valid Florida Driver's license.
Working Conditions

This position demands good physical and mental health, and requires the ability to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull, and move continuously during work hours.
