Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Custodian to join our team at Encompass Onsite. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our client locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate mechanized cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Maintain facility in a sanitary and infection-free condition through washing, cleaning, and replacement of equipment and furnishings.
  • Dispose of trash, waste, and other materials in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
  • Manage cleaning solvents, chemicals, and germicides, and comply with all regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and State Health Department guidelines.
  • Follow job assignments and maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public.
  • Previous housekeeping experience and prior solid surface (resilient floor) care experience preferred.
Working Conditions

This position demands good physical and mental health. The ability to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull, and move continuously during work hours is required. Ability to lift and/or carry 25 to 45 pounds throughout the day.
