Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and automated test cases to validate software functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements and ensure seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Maintain a production-like test environment, including installation and configuration of operating systems, databases, and applications.
  • Work closely with application development and operations teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts, data sets, and scenarios to ensure efficient and effective testing.
  • Participate in risk management assessments and software/hardware deployment activities.
  • Collect and analyze metrics to measure test progress and quality outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing, including software test case development and testing.
  • Knowledge of databases, operating systems, applications, and web servers, with experience in SQL or database query tools.
  • Understanding of software verification and validation processes and procedures, as well as software requirements development methodologies.
  • Experience with configuration management tools and automated test tools and processes.
  • Knowledge of DEV/OPS and agile support/development methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Clearance:

  • Bachelor's degree in systems engineering or a related field.
  • Active DOD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain an agency-specific suitability clearance.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with CMMI-SVC, ITIL, and SDLC Lifecycle processes and standards.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain stationary up to 75% of the time in an office environment.
  • Ability to traverse between work locations to accomplish work duties.
  • Ability to operate IT equipment, including computers, copiers, and fax machines.

Compensation and Benefits:

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,900-$141,100.
