Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at West Valley Hospital. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations and delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound examinations in compliance with departmental procedures and protocols.
  • Correlate sonographic findings with clinical information and previous imaging results.
  • Analyze examinations for completeness and gather additional information as needed.
  • Document findings and results in a thorough and accurate manner.
  • Provide clear communication to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  • Assist physicians with procedures and provide necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Utilize imaging equipment to assist radiologists with guidance and localization.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved program in ultrasound technology or registered in abdomen and OB/GYN.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Sonography required.
  • Minimum one year of experience as an Ultrasound Tech preferred.
  • BLS from the AHA required within 90 days of hire.
  • Registered RVT preferred.
  • Active Sonography license with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) required.
