Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Salem, Oregon.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art ultrasound department. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, maintaining equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, and gynecologic exams
  • Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and dignity throughout the examination process
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training
Requirements:
  • Active Sonography license with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI)
  • Registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in both Abdomen and OB/GYN
  • 1 year of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist, with a preference for those with a Bachelor's degree in Sonography
  • AHA BLS certification, with the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
