Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to donors, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Plasma Collection: Perform phlebotomy procedures, including venipuncture, to collect plasma from donors, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and FDA guidelines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, including personal digital assistants (PDAs), to ensure accurate recording of donor data and efficient operation of the center.
- Donor Safety: Monitor the safety and well-being of donors during the plasma collection process, responding to any adverse reactions or incidents.
- Center Operations: Facilitate donor flow, maintain a clean and efficient work environment, and ensure sufficient operating supplies are available.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; phlebotomist certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum one-year phlebotomy experience in a customer service environment, such as a medical office, retail, or blood/plasma collection center.
- Skills: Good communication and organizational skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to perform repetitive duties.
