About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Paschal Air, Plumbing & Electric. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction with our heating and air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to customers' homes on time and arrive with a thorough understanding of the work to be done.
  • Educate customers on system use, maintenance tips, and techniques for damage prevention, providing expert advice on optimizing system function.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including refrigerant replenishment and filter replacement.
  • Install thermostats, dehumidifiers, or timers, conducting tests to identify optimal settings and instructing customers on proper use.
  • Replace components such as coils, compressors, and controls, utilizing various tools, including electrical hand-tools, saws, drills, vacuums, and refrigerant gauges.
  • Determine service requirements by applying technical skills and experience, including system operations and preventive maintenance expertise.
  • Complete all work processes while maintaining safe working conditions and personal safety.
  • Document, in detail, the outcome of every work order.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read and understand technical instructions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of equipment, tools, and methods commonly applied in repairing air conditioning and heating equipment.
  • Accurate diagnostics ability and ability to explain technical information to clients.
  • Computer knowledge and ability to apply necessary software tools for HVAC duties.
