Position Overview: Provide essential continuity of care by conducting client evaluations, managing cases, and planning admissions in a manner that is ethical, legal, and morally sound within a secure and therapeutic setting, adhering to relevant regulatory and accreditation standards. Collaborate as a team member in delivering Substance Use Disorder treatment services to clients and their families, integrating recovery issues into their everyday lives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Addiction Studies, or a related field.

• tCADC/CADC, IADC, LMHC, or LISW certification required.

Job Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer usage is essential.
• Ability to navigate and complete documentation in electronic health records.
• Timely completion of required documentation is necessary.
• Demonstrated clinical proficiency in assessments and admissions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Adhere to scheduled work hours and additional hours as necessary.
2. Manage all initial contact calls and assess clients over the phone to determine treatment appropriateness, level of care, and specific needs.
3. Schedule and conduct assessment interviews with potential clients and their significant others.
4. Develop initial diagnostic impressions and appropriate recommendations for care placement.
5. Provide case management and counseling services to assigned clients.
6. Employ intervention skills as needed to ensure clients receive the appropriate level of treatment services.
7. Maintain awareness of community, educational, and recovery resources to facilitate interagency referrals.
8. Establish networking, linkage, and follow-up with referral sources.
9. Communicate effectively with all staff regarding assessments and admissions.
10. Meet with all individuals being admitted to treatment and ensure a smooth transition to the admissions clinician when possible.
11. Facilitate discussions regarding co-pay and down payments with the Client Accounts Representative when necessary.
12. Confirm that clients have necessary medications and medical records for admission.
13. Conduct pre-certification calls for insurance as required.
14. Notify relevant staff of client status during the admissions process.
15. Ensure client health records are maintained in accordance with established rules and regulations.
16. Assume on-call responsibilities as scheduled or as needed.
17. Participate as a member of the Access Team and engage in all team meetings and activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM; Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation: Based on education, experience, and credentials
  • Starting rate for Bachelor's degree - $21.11/hour
  • Starting rate for Master's degree - $24.44/hour
  • Additional $0.50/hour with CADC certification
