Position Overview:

Customer Value Partners is in search of a Board Certified Physician specializing in Oncology Services to provide exceptional medical support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care as a consultant in outpatient settings and/or inpatient units, while participating in the on-call schedule for the Radiation Oncology Service.
  • Engage in strategic planning for the Radiation Oncology Service.
  • Contribute to local administrative tasks, management duties, quality assurance initiatives, and attend relevant meetings or committees.
  • Participate in regular peer review processes to ensure high standards of care.
  • Remain vigilant regarding patients' conditions and disorders, providing immediate attention to any concerning reactions.
  • Maintain comprehensive patient records and files, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Ensure timely completion of daily clinic notes with precise documentation and coding of services provided.
  • Practice radiation safety to minimize exposure risks to patients, staff, and oneself, in accordance with departmental and VA radiation safety protocols.
  • Provide compassionate and accurate treatment to patients.
  • Adhere to established safety practices and promptly report any unsafe conditions or practices to the Chief.
  • Comply with all safety and health standards, regulations, and work practices, utilizing appropriate protective equipment as necessary.
  • Engage in quality assurance activities, including data collection, analysis, and reporting on trends based on collected data.

Qualifications:

  • Degree: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited institution in the United States or Canada.
  • Must hold Board Certification in Oncology.
  • Familiarity with the latest standards of care, practices, and procedures in oncology.
