About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maternal Child Float Pool Nurse to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a Maternal Child Float Pool Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns in the Maternal Child Float Pool unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year of Nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Labor and Deliver OR NICU Experience
