POSITION SUMMARY:

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a pivotal role in assisting the Store Manager to foster a customer-centric and product-oriented sales environment. This role emphasizes our core values and guiding principles in all aspects of store management, including overseeing sales operations, safeguarding assets, and managing human resources functions to ensure an exceptional customer experience and optimal profitability. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performance Management

Evaluates sales data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify business needs; collaborates with the Store Manager to implement effective sales strategies.

Sets clear expectations and holds the store team accountable for meeting brand standards in performance and behavior.

Manages payroll and supply budgets efficiently.

Oversees essential operational tasks such as scheduling, conducting shrink audits, managing physical inventory, and ensuring payroll accuracy.

Handles all financial transactions in accordance with company policies, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and reporting.

Ensures compliance with relevant laws and loss prevention policies; conducts training to reinforce proper operational controls.

Administers operational processes including inventory management and daily merchandise replenishment.

Maintains visual merchandising and store organization that reflects the brand's identity.

Team Development

Inspires and motivates the store team, fostering a shared vision while exemplifying core values.

Encourages a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Communicates effectively with store teams and the Store Manager to drive positive changes.

Seeks opportunities for personal development and actively solicits feedback to enhance leadership skills.

Customer Engagement

Demonstrates, teaches, and advocates for the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles, ensuring a seamless omni-channel experience.

Models sales expectations by utilizing various techniques and sharing product knowledge with customers; assists in merchandise selection based on customer preferences.

Addresses customer concerns promptly and efficiently.

Ensures a smooth and efficient checkout experience, staying informed on policies regarding payments, returns, and exchanges.

Encourages consistent client communication through customer engagement initiatives.

Talent Management

Assists in the recruitment, hiring, and development of a high-performing team.

Supports and implements training programs and provides follow-up to ensure effectiveness.

Evaluates and coaches the store team on performance metrics.

Collaborates with the Store Manager to resolve human resources issues promptly.

Promotes team engagement by recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.

Ensures adherence to all employment practices and policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Preferred 2+ years of experience in retail management.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Able to adapt to technology utilized by the company.

Demonstrated customer service excellence with a proven track record in sales and leadership.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Effective leadership and team-building abilities.

Knowledge of the administrative aspects of retail operations.

Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff.

Regular attendance is essential to meet company objectives, with a flexible schedule required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Frequent walking and standing throughout the shift.

Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Regular climbing as part of operational duties.
