Job Title: Alterations Customer Service Representative

At David's Bridal, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences. As an Alterations Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and engage with customers, providing personalized service and support throughout their alteration experience.
  • Utilize our systems to manage customer flow, ensuring seamless and efficient service delivery.
  • Meet and exceed service standards, including preparing, welcoming, meeting needs, and being there for customers.
  • Proactively address customer concerns, escalating issues as needed and partnering with leadership to resolve.
  • Effectively communicate the value of alterations in perfecting the dress for special occasions.
  • Promote all alterations services and personalization options to customers.
  • Maintain store standards, including cleanliness, organization, and promotional readiness, to support a flawless shopping experience.
  • Adhere to dress code standards and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Greet and escort customers to and from alterations for appointments.
  • Press, steam, and spot clean merchandise to ensure high-quality finishes.
  • Follow quality control guidelines and inspect garments to verify pristine condition before delivery to customers.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers, exceeding their expectations and driving loyalty.
  • Support inventory management by processing special orders, pick-ups, and first-quality standards for merchandise.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring every customer feels celebrated.
  • Seek assistance from the Alterations Manager to address customer issues that cannot be resolved.
  • Maintain a clean and organized alterations room.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent degree.
  • 1-2 years of prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
  • Prior sewing experience is beneficial.
  • Prior experience with computerized POS systems.
