Raya Workforce is looking for a seasoned Superintendent to manage on-site field operations for commercial construction initiatives. This position requires collaboration with the project management team to establish site logistics, communication strategies, and procedural guidelines. The Superintendent will evaluate construction activities to guarantee adherence to quality benchmarks, project specifications, and safety protocols, while supervising construction personnel, foremen, assistant superintendents, and subcontractor teams.

Primary Duties:
  • Formulate and execute site logistics, lifting, hoisting, delivery, and access plans.
  • Assess construction activities to ensure alignment with quality benchmarks, project specifications, and standards.
  • Implement safety programs and enforce OSHA regulations.
  • Offer technical guidance on construction techniques and equipment usage.
  • Coordinate trades and related installations to prevent conflicts and ensure adherence to schedules.
  • Encourage effective communication among team members and collaborate with project management, quality assurance/control, and safety teams.
  • Mentor and inspire assistants and workers to comply with company policies and core values.
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients and design teams to facilitate successful project outcomes.
  • Ensure timely and precise preparation of time sheets, daily construction reports, and labor forecasts.
  • Develop and sustain project timelines, ensuring coordinated and timely installations.
Qualifications:
  • At least 10 years of experience as a Project Superintendent with a construction management-at-risk, hard bid, or design-build contractor.
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects valued at over $10 million.
  • Preferred background in healthcare, higher education, or laboratory construction.
  • Strong experience in self-performing work in excavation, concrete, and finish carpentry.
  • Proven success in delivering profitable projects while meeting or exceeding budget expectations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction technology, equipment, methods, and safety standards.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and planning abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office, email, and PDF software.
