Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the management team, this role is responsible for overseeing customer adherence to safety regulations at the Firing Range, preparing the facility for operational activities, and managing financial transactions related to sales, user fees, and memberships. Additionally, routine maintenance of the range is required.

Key Responsibilities:
Individuals in this position perform essential operational support tasks directly linked to the daily functioning and upkeep of the Firing Range. This role involves significant interaction with clients, necessitating sound judgment to address immediate concerns. More complex matters will be escalated to a supervisor. The primary duties include:

1. Ensure compliance with all safety protocols by range clients.
2. Operate standard equipment necessary for the role, including range machinery and air circulation systems.
3. Manage financial transactions associated with the sale of supplies, range usage fees, and membership dues.
4. Conduct regular maintenance of the range facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and an appealing environment for customers and visitors.
5. Assist with departmental tasks such as answering calls, maintaining stock levels, and document duplication.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with colleagues, clients, and the public.
• Familiarity with law enforcement tools, including firearms and training props.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Expertise in the safe handling of firearms.
• Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 75 pounds as needed.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience in safe firearms handling.
• Previous law enforcement experience is preferred.
