Position Overview: We are in search of a motivated, Senior-level Product Manager who is quick to learn, possesses humility, and can navigate significant ambiguity within some of the most advanced machine-learning projects in the industry. The ideal candidate will be a technically adept and data-oriented collaborator who comprehends how the intricacies and objectives of their product align with The Trade Desk's mission to enhance the advertising ecosystem for the open internet. They will be focused on growth and adept at identifying product-market fit alongside their teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the voice of our global customers, gaining a deep understanding of how to enhance user experiences through software.
  • Uphold our core product principle of "doing the right thing" by balancing the diverse needs of our agency clients, partnerships, and the programmatic industry.
  • Own the roadmap and execution for various data products, including UI/API experiences for constructing and managing data science models and pipelines that dictate our evaluation and bidding on advertising opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across UX/UI, Data Partnerships, Data Science, and Engineering Teams to navigate trade-offs in workflow implementations, visualizations, model strategies, and customer impact.
  • Engage with stakeholders globally to actualize our shared vision for programmatic advertising.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management.
  • A background in software development, engineering, or data science/analytics is advantageous.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear communication.
  • Visionary thinking to identify, outline, and shape the roadmap for major initiatives through collaboration with leadership, engineering, data science, and product teams.
  • A passion for your work and a commitment to delivering impactful features.
  • Resilience in problem-solving, demonstrating creativity and multiple iterations to reach effective solutions.
  • Collaborative mindset, ensuring the right tasks are accomplished by the team.
  • Selflessness in ensuring the team receives recognition for their contributions.
