Position Summary

As a Civil Construction Technician at Heights Tower Service, Inc., you will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to execute site preparation and perform various civil construction tasks, including steel fabrication and tower erection. Your daily responsibilities will involve precise digging, concrete pouring, and conduit installation, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will travel within our operational area, setting up and mounting equipment while installing essential components such as conduit, grounding systems, concrete forms, and rebar. You will also be tasked with finishing concrete surfaces, operating machinery, and handling tools and instruments with care and precision.

Requirements

To excel in this position, you should be available for travel from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend commitments. Expect frequent overtime and overnight travel as part of your duties. Comfort in outdoor work conditions is essential, along with a foundational understanding of hand tools. Additionally, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license and the ability to qualify as a company driver.
  • Proficiency in driving a truck and trailer.
  • Skills in securing equipment and materials.
  • Experience in operating a shovel or manual excavator.
  • Capability to install conduit effectively.
  • Successful completion of all pre-employment requirements, including background checks and drug screenings.
