Job Description

Mercury Broadband is seeking a skilled Tower Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our Tower Team, you will be responsible for leading telecommunications site construction and maintenance projects. This is a full-time position based in Mt. Vernon, OH, with a competitive salary range of $25-$30 per hour, plus benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations at assigned sites, ensuring safety and quality control requirements are met.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner, maintaining daily paperwork and implementing job instructions provided by leadership.
  • Ensure assigned work orders are completed and closed out, and assist in training Tower Technicians.
  • Survey and pass on site recommendations for potential new site leads, and troubleshoot complex issues.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of tower climbing experience, with a clean driving record and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to climb with up to a 30 lb. load and work at elevated heights up to 500', with most of the work performed at 300' or less.
  • Ability to stand continuously, reach frequently, and bend at waist and knees frequently.
  • Requires working outdoors in all types of weather, with good finger and hand dexterity to utilize various hand tools in a repetitive manner.
Preferred Skills:
  • First Aid/CPR certified, OSHA 10, and Competent Climber/Rescue Training.
  • Basic Electrical Safety Training and RF Awareness Training.
  • Experience with Construction Management Software, such as Vitruvi or equivalent.
Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
