Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a CT Tech in Imaging (Days) at our Lake Butler, FL location. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for operating portable radiology equipment to produce diagnostic quality images for Radiologist interpretation. You will also be driving company vehicles with radiology equipment to various locations to perform various x-ray/CT exams as ordered by physicians.

Responsibilities
  • Operate portable radiology equipment to produce diagnostic quality images for Radiologist interpretation.
  • Drive company vehicles with radiology equipment to various locations to perform various x-ray/CT exams as ordered by physicians.
  • Obtain and scan required exam related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol.
  • Regularly communicate with dispatch and management.
  • Communicate efficiently and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
  • Maintain vehicle and x-ray equipment.
  • Train other technologists as required.
  • Perform special projects or other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
Requirements
  • ARRT Certification in XR required. Prefer CT or registry eligible within 3 months.
  • Maintain required State licenses and/or ARRT Certification, health requirements, and operational requirements.
  • Valid driver's license in the applicable state and in good current standing at all times.
  • COVID 19 Vaccinated Required, Proof must be submitted in candidate packet at time of submission or candidate will be automatically declined.

The Radiologic Technologists may push/pull anywhere from lbs. With the use of vehicle ramps and pulleys, this weight decreases. When the tech is pushing/pulling the equipment in a facility or home; however, the weight can increase. 50 lbs of force (or more) can occur 16 to 24 times a day.
