Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Associate to join our team at Comprehensive Healthcare. This per diem position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing care and support to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic activities and engage clients in their recovery journey
  • Accompany clients to appointments, community events, and outings to promote socialization and integration
  • Collaborate with families, natural supports, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
  • Offer coaching and counseling in group and individual settings to support clients' mental health
  • Monitor medication administration, symptoms, and response to ensure optimal treatment outcomes
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to facility-specific cleaning protocols
  • Complete required documentation to track client progress and goals
  • Ensure personal safety and that of others by utilizing proper PPE, including N95 respirator masks when necessary

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in behavioral health or a related field is preferred
  • Willingness to comply with N95 respirator requirements, including initial fit testing and ongoing use throughout employment
  • Eligibility for registration as an Agency Affiliated Counselor
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or approved exemption prior to starting work
